As parents ourselves, my husband Chris and I started Little Wonders to offer families a safe and nurturing place for children to grow and learn. During the founding stages of our center, we used our combined experiences as both a certified teacher and childcare director, combined with years of management experience working with the public and children, to ensure that no detail escaped the scrutiny of diligent background, health and safety and child development checks.
Within our years of operation we have worked hard to ensure that our staff, our program and our facility not only meet but exceed Department of Children and Families, Office of Licensing childcare licensing regulations. Our committment to quality is further exemplified by our recent star rating received as part of the Grow NJ Kids quality improvement and rating process.
Aside from our Grow NJ Kids quality rating, what sets us aside from other centers is both our unique home-like facility and our dedicated staff. Our staff works hard inside and outside their classrooms to continue to learn and grow as educators in the field of Early Childhood. Each teacher or assistant employed at Little Wonders has been awarded, at minimum a CDA (Child Development Associates), an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or related field or a Bachelor's Degree in the area of ECE, Elementary Education or related field. Staff attend on-going training and workshops related to child development, health and safety, curriculum and assessment. Further dedication to the field of Early Childhood can be witnessed as many of our staff currently work at the center during the day and attend college classes at night. What a great way to show committment to the field of early childcare education!
We love meeting new families and would love the opportunity to share all the exciting ways our program can meet the needs of your family.........call to schedule a visit today!
