Owner/Director

Ms. Stacey

Hi my name is Ms. Stacey. I am the Owner/Director of Little Wonders Childcare & Learning Center. Prior to my current role as owner/director of Little Wonders I was fortunate enough to have had experiences that helped guide me to where I am today. I graduated from Bloomsburg University with my Bachelor’s Degree in Education. I worked as a paraprofessional and basic skills teacher in an elementary school until I was presented with an opportunity to become the Director of a childcare center in Pennsylvania. Although I never really saw myself in this role, I quickly began to love what I was doing, especially the opportunity to work with families and children in an environment in which parents are genuinely grateful to find reliable and quality care for their children.  To learn more about running a successful childcare center, I went back to school and earned my Early Childhood Education Director certification from Lehigh Carbon Community College in December 2009.  Using this knowledge and my experience as a childcare Director, I opened Little Wonders in August of 2013.

My husband Chris and I are the proud parents to two young men, Cody and Kevin, who live in Maryland. My husband and I are trying to adjust to this new chapter as “empty nesters” and have put energy previously devoted to our own children into helping families raise their children by providing them with a safe, nurturing environment for learning and growing.

When I am not spending time at Little Wonders or spending time with my family, I enjoy reading everything from professional resources and magazines to novels, history books and children’s books. I enjoy doing any kind of puzzles including jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles and Sudoku puzzles. I am fascinated with history, genealogy and Elvis! I am a member of the bell choir at my church and I love to sing……..just ask my staff!

Infant/Toddler Room

Ms. Jayne

Hello! My name is Ms. Jayne and I am the head Infant/Toddler classroom teacher. I have over 15 years of experience working with infants and toddlers. I have an Associates in Early Education and hope to soon begin working toward earning a Bachelor's Degree in Early Education. I love working with infants and toddlers because each day is a new experience. They are learning and growing , so fast and I love being part of that process.

I have one child of my own who recently graduated from Rider University. I love nothing more than spending my free time with my son! We have four pets at home, two parakeets named Luigi and Sky, a cockatiel named Loki and a guinea pig named Autumn.

I am a HUGE fan of The Wizard of Oz! My large collection of Oz memorabilia is displayed everywhere in my home.  I am a bit of a book worm that loves used book stores. Other things I enjoy are entering my guinea pig in contests, playing board games and spending time with family and friends.

Infant/Toddler Room

Miss. Jessica

Hell, my name is Miss Jessica and I am the head Toddler teacher in the Infant/Toddler classroom. I have my CDA (Child Development Associate) in infant/toddler and am currently working toward earning my Associates in Education. I have been working with children for over 7 years. I love working with infants/toddlers because I love watching them grow, learn, and also seeing all their accomplishments. 

When not working with children I love to go hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. I love listening and singing along to country music , especially Jason Aldeen. I also love spending time with my family, especially my neice, my nephew and my dog Zara.

Preschool Room

Ms. Glenna

Hello, my name is Ms. Glenna, I am teacher in the Preschool classroom. I have an Associates Degree in Early Education from Warren County Community College and am currently attending Cedar Crest College working toward earning a Bachelors in Special Education with a minor in Psychology and Mathematics. I love working with children because I like watching them grow and learn new experiences, knowing that I helped them.

In my free time I like to paint/draw and read books. When it's nice out I enjoy taking walks with my husbanc in our town. 

School Age

Ms. Dee 

Hi my name is Ms. Dee and I am the School Age teacher at Little Wonders. I have my CDA with a focus on working with Preschool and older age children.  I love working with children because every day is different and watching children grow and learn makes me happy.                            

I have been married for over 30 years to Raymond. We have two beautiful girls, Kristi and Raychel. I have also been blessed with two beautiful grand-daughters, Annisa and Norah. They make life exciting and new.

I love cats, I have 2 named Penelope and Angus. I have a big family who loves to be together as much as time permits. I also like to go walking and hiking, doing jigsaw puzzles, cooking and cleaning.

I enjoy my job very much. All of my co-workers are friendly and we all get along well making work fun. We have a great boss who is always willing to do more than she should to help us in any and every way.   

Classroom Aides

Miss. Shannon & Miss. Alysha

Miss Shannon has her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from Cedar Crest College. She works primarily with our preschool and school age students providing support to classroom teachers. While not at work, Shannon enjoys baking, crafting, shopping and spending time with her family.

Miss Alysha has a CDA (Child Devpmemt Associate's) and has worked with children of all ages. She currently works primarily with our infant/toddler students providing support to classroom teachers. While not at work, Alysha enjoys spending time with her large family, especially her fiance Tyler, volunteering with a local fire rescue squad unit and going to the beach.
